You enjoy using your sunroom throughout the summertime, spring, and autumn. Perhaps you enjoy a book or your cup of coffee there, or maybe you exercise in the space. In any case, you love your sunroom and miss it when you aren’t using it as much in the winter months. This holiday season, utilize your sunroom as a part of your holiday traditions. You will love seeing the space in a new way and your guests will enjoy the views your sunroom offers.

Here are just a few ways you can transform your sunroom for your holiday season.

Host a Holiday Drink Social
Your sunroom is the prime place for a small gathering to bask in the warm sun. Invite a few of your friends over for a cozy holiday drink social. Make homemade hot cocoa and put out small bowls of extras to create a hot chocolate bar. For your fixings, try putting out peppermint sticks, marshmallows, holiday sprinkles, and cinnamon. To make the holiday drink event more adult centered, try a mulled wine option or add bottles of brandy or rum for people to add into warm apple cider.

Add a Tree or Collection
Your sunroom will go less neglected during the season if you add a few decorations. Consider adding a pre-lit tree to your sunroom; you will love the warm glow you can see from the inside or outside of your home. You can also make your sunroom as a spot for your favorite holiday collections – favorite Santa figurines or framed holiday photos are perfect for your sunroom space.

Try a Holiday Breakfast
If your sunroom has space for a table, consider making it the venue for a special holiday breakfast. Serve snowman shaped pancakes or your family’s favorite cinnamon rolls while everyone is cozy in flannel pajamas.

Your sunroom is the perfect place to watch the first snowfall of the season or to open gifts from friends. Don’t forget about this bright and welcoming space of your home this season.
