Homeowners planning an upgrade or remodel of their bathroom or master bedroom often enter the project excited for a change. However, the process and endless decision making can become overwhelming before the project even begins. To help you with planning your dream master bedroom and bathroom, we have compiled a few window trends you may consider for your new project.

The perfect window can add to a room’s atmosphere and articulate your own personal style. Even better, a window can let the light in and give even small rooms the appearance of grandeur.

Unique Shapes
For your master bathroom, windows can add the extra light your space craves. However, with additional windows comes the worry about privacy. Choose unique shaped windows to add a bit of architectural interest and pair with window treatments to assure privacy when needed. We love a series of tall and skinny rectangular windows reaching from floor to ceiling, but a beautiful octagon window over a bathtub can be stunning as well.

Sliders
For your master bedroom, give yourself access to a small outdoor space with the addition of a slider. Not only will you get access to your outdoor space and fresh air, your new doors will provide lots of extra light into your master bedroom.

Skylights
If your master closet could use some additional light – and what closets couldn’t? – consider using skylights to get the light you are looking for. In addition to the sunlight, your skylights also give you access to fresh air all the time, and automatically close when it rains. Skylights and sun tunnels also work great to make smaller bathrooms appear larger.
